Ghartera wants to create safe spaces for artists where they can show their work like they want to. We also attempt to break out of the conventional spaces like big galleries and navigate both public and personal spaces. We are trying to explore the opportunities of organizing exhibitions without the help of big galleries & art spaces.

 

     We oppose any sort of corporate funding, because of all the business agenda that comes with it. We also want to break out of the hassle of censorship and prohibition that comes with established creative spaces.

Ghartera is mostly self-funded by the collaborating artists, alongside a minuscule amount of crowd funding. This means that the necessary amount of financial support is not available to the artists most of the time to suitably produce their works.
