Ayreen Khan

Ayreen is a visual artist, writer and researcher. Her work portrays visions of spiritual awareness through mystical states, exploring life and asking questions. Her images are vivid, translating themes from world traditions such as Tasawwuf/Sufism, Thangka (Tibetan Buddhist painting), Tantra,Sacred Geometry, and Mandala (Spiritual/ritual symbolism from Abrahamic religions, Hinduism and Buddhism).

Ayreen's work depicts infinite forms within formless time and space, shamelessly reflecting our life stories and situations. The art points at love, rage, grief, pain, violence, beauty, ugliness, pleasure, separation and unification with the divine.

Her work has been described as personal journey of healing, awakening, becoming, and unbecoming.
